Its that time of the year again, ROAD TAX SEASON.  
If you own a "Y" or "E" plated vehicle you can now go pay your Road Tax at the Nagasaki Prefectural Tax Office. 
If you own an "A" plated vehicle or motorcycle you can do so beginning 1 April. 
After paying your Road Tax, you will need your  2021 Road Tax receipt to renew your base vehicle registration at CFAS Security and receive a new USFJ Decal no later than 31 May.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Road Tax Campaign will not be held on base this year. You are therefore required to do it physically at the local taxes offices. 
We are offering an online payment service for the 2021 road tax in collaboration with the tax department aimed at saving you time and minimizing your risk of exposure as everyone rushes to beat the deadline.

WE WILL CHARGE A CONVENIENCE FEE OF $20 FOR EACH APPLICATION.  FREE FOR THOSE WHO BOUGHT CARS FROM US.

HOW TO PAY.
1. Confirm amount owed.
2. Add ¥2000 convenience fee.
3. Round off to the nearest $.

5. Send us a pdf copy of the 2020 yellow sticker and Title via email.

6. Receive a pdf copy of the yellow sticker on email from us. The originals will be available from 1400hrs the following day for all payments made and copies before midnight the previous day. Fridays and Saturday payments will tally on Midnight Sunday.
  You can get the original either by:
*. Pick up at Nimitz park.
*. Pick up from our office (Hario residents).
*. Home delivery (off base addresses only, at an extra $10 fee).
